Navigating the Challenges of Filming Stonehenge

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site managed by English Heritage, Stonehenge has strict policies regarding drone usage, including:

• No take-offs or landings from English Heritage land.

• Strict enforcement of regulations on their property.

• A need for careful planning to capture legal aerial footage.

While these restrictions make filming more challenging, they do not prevent drone flights over the site, as airspace is regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), not English Heritage.

How We Captured Stonehenge Legally with a Drone
